No matter what they are going through, kids are still kids. They need to laugh, be silly, play games, and have fun.
But for kids affected by childhood cancer and blood disorders, summer can be lonely and isolating. Going away to overnight camp simply isn't an option for some families, so we created a day camp that's just for them.
What is WCK City Camp?
WCK City Camp is the only day camp for kids with cancer and blood disorders in British Columbia.
Here, children – and siblings of children – with cancer/blood disorders can connect, play, make memories, and just be kids.
We provide flexibility for parents and caregivers so attendance can be scheduled around treatment, and we ensure that we have medical staff on site at all times.
"My kids felt happy, safe, and loved. They came home every day with stories of the amazing people they met and the fun they had. I was able to get things done, knowing my kids were being taken care of by people I could trust. We love WCK and City Camp!”

Send a kid to camp
It costs $500 for a child to attend City Camp for a full week. This covers the cost of expert medical supervision, nourishing snacks, high-quality facilities, and fun games and crafts.
This year, we have more children registered to attend camp than ever before. Your donation will help them get there and have the best experience possible.
Please use the form below to make your secure, tax-deductible donation now. Your information will never be shared or sold.
